has the hooded front sight, same person also told me not all 94s have this has the trigger stop, someone told me some 94s do not have this and have a normal safety. Wood is great condition with no scratches or marks but I don't know what kind of wood it is This rifle has been loaded and cycled twice, there are no scratches on the finish even on the loading door, I can see some finger prints and they don't want to rub off with a lense cloth serial number is 53160xx (I wasn't sure to put whole number) small parts baggie with little keys and things, hammer extension for using scopes in there card/tag tied to the finger lever, service center paper, NRA card, purchase record card, warranty paper and instruction booklet are in the box ugly brown shiney looking craft paper is in there around the rifle and it has rips in it 0094-0120)" and the serial number sticker matches the rifle(doesn't seem important) side of the box has the label "MODEL 94 ANGLE EJECT, Lever action centerfire carbine, 30-30 Win., 20" Bbl. Box is in OK shape, been in the back of a closet for 9 years. This is the information I have and can give: What information and details do I need on the unfired rifle to determine value so I know what to expect from a gun store? I wanted to get another gun and wanted the price or trade of the sold rifle to go towards this new gun. I do not know alot about firearms other than how to put bullets in them, point and make the bullets empty. I use the display model but would like to sell the unfired one. One was a display model that had alot of handling marks, it had the manual but no box/extras and the second was new, unmolested with box/papers/small parts extras. 30-30 winchester model 94AE with similar serial numbers, I got them both from a small outdoor store I worked at that in the early 80's used to also sell military surplus supplies and firearms, I got both rifles for $100 after the owner found them in the back.
